Hi Graham,
Another very thoughtful and timely post, bound to stimulate discussions in teacher circles. It's time for the local Netblazers group to get together again to take up your suggestions. Count me in!
I've tagged some cybersafety sites on my del.icio.us account
<a href="http://del.icio.us/tag/cybersafety" rel="nofollow">vonnie</a>
and will track this tag as well as Warrick's suggestion.

Great posting Graham; right on some of the thinking we've been doing about the issues of creating an identity online. You put it really well. I'm going to share this around school with some people right now!

Graham, what you outline here is on the money. And, as you state, we have to educate kids on what's appropriate and what's inappropriate by being proactive.

I think what's happened with many adults is that Web 2.0 came down on them fast, and, when things started to happen, the response was reactionary rather than eduational and informative.
