		<description>Graham; thanks for the kinds words about my classroom. This is a busy time with being away in Shanghai last week ad only two weeks into a school year. You are also write that Shanghai is a long, long way from Snow Lake (13 time zones as a matter of fact!). A whole different world to explore. I hope you managed to see some of the stuff I wrote about my Idea Hive classroom logo. I&#039;ve been giving you all the credit for coming up with the idea of having a classroom logo. I talked long and hard last week in Shanghai about some of the ideas I&#039;ve gotten from you. I like this post on community; its been something front and centre in my mind for some time now. I&#039;m not sure I&#039;ve got it yet. Been thinking a lot about Shirky and about the social life of information. I guess never knowing the answers is what keeps this all interesting. Thansk for your thinking.</description>

		<description>The classroom as a studio? I do not like the idea of that either. All of the technology is good, but computers cannot care about students. Students do need a leader to look after and care for them. They do need to be nurtured. Technology is great when used in the right ways and moderation. I believe that students need a little bit of a person connection with their teachers. Computers just can’t quite to it. I like that you give your students input. I think they would be more responsive by having their say in the situation.  I also agree that teachers are somewhat responsible for the bond of their students. The teacher is the leader of the class; they can set the tone of togetherness.</description>
