I think you echo the sentiments of everyone who ever tried to avoid FB and then found themselves scanning profiles for nearly 2 hours in one sitting. We are all curious what our old friends, acquaintances, and collegues are up to. I think FB gives us the ability to peek in on their lives without being intrusive.
